Tom of Finland at 101 Years!
From Wallpaper:
âTo mark the artistâs 2020 centenary, Fotografiska New York in collaboration with the Tom of Finland Foundation produced âThe Darkroomâ, a deep-dive into the artistâs life and work. âThe Darkroomâ consists of never-before-exhibited portraits captured as source material for Tom of Finlandâs famed drawings. Among the photographs are portraits of friends and partners â including those Tom of Finland and Robert Mapplethorpe took of each other â that were confined to his home studio and darkroom for years, with much of the correspondence between the artist and his subjects destroyed due to the illegality of homosexuality at the time. To have practiced this process in plain sight would have risked a prison sentence.â
Someone at Wallpaper magazine really loves Tom of Finland because theyâve written quite a few interesting articles about him and his work:

John Steinbeckâs Lost Animalistic Werewolf Novel Revealed
Before John Steinbeck was a Nobel Prize winner in Literature, he wrote a violent werewolf mystery called Murder At Full Moon under a pseudonym. Some scholars are calling for the manuscript to be published.
âIt actually relates to his interest in violent human transformationâthe kind of human-animal connection that you find all over his work; his interest in mob violence and how humans are capable of other states of being, including particularly violent murderers.â âStanford academic Gavin Jones

Carl Sagan & His Covert Cannabis Essay
It was only confirmed after his death, but Carl Sagan, the noted astronomer & public intellectual, wrote about cannabis under a false name in 1969, ââŚI have smoked occasionally and enjoyed it thoroughly. It amplifies torpid sensibilities and produces what to me are even more interesting effects.â

Luckily, they went with a different design instead, the one you see in the movie.
